Our Mission
At Companionship of the Elderly, we are not-for-profit charity dedicated and aiming to improve the lives of those in need by providing essential services and support and ensured that the older people in the communities have access to social support, activities and opportunities to combat loneliness and live with qualitative and fulfilling lives. We are achieving this through programmes including companionship, volunteering and fundraising. Also providing a responsive grant programme for older people to cope financially.
Factor
The elderly population is a large in general and it's growing, many people experiencing loneliness and depression in old age. Loneliness may lead to serious health-related consequences, depression, poor psychological adjustment, and important cause of suicide.
Our Programmes
We offer a variety of programmes and services to meet the personnel needs, including to ensure older people in our communities have access to social support, activity and opportunity to combat loneliness, and older people have access to safe, high quality of support services, also providing a responsive grants programme for older people cope financially.
